CCEF congratulates Gov Mbah on launch of Enugu Air

The Coal City Elites Forum (CCEF), the foremost platform for professionals of Enugu State extraction who have attained the directorate cadre in the Federal Public Service of Nigeria, have cpngratulated the Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency Dr. Peter Ndubisi Mbah, on the historic launch of Enugu Air, the State’s flagship airline, operated under a public-private partnership with XeJet.

In a statement by Dr. Benito Eze, mni, President, Coal City Elites Forum (CCEF): “This bold and visionary initiative represents a landmark achievement—not only for Ndi Enugu State, but for the entire South-East region of Nigeria, and Nigeria as a whole. 

“By establishing a state-backed airline, the Mbah administration has demonstrated a clear commitment to innovation, economic diversification, and infrastructure-led development consistent with his transformative leadership.

“The CCEF commends this strategic move, which is set to unlock vast potentials in the aviation and tourism sectors, boost regional connectivity, and enhance cultural and economic exchanges across Nigeria and beyond”. 

He added that Enugu Air is poised to catalyze job creation, attract investment, and serve as a powerful engine for inclusive and sustainable socio-economic growth in the State.

“Governor Mbah’s leadership continues to reflect foresight, purpose and dynamism, charting a bold path toward a globally competitive Enugu State. 

“The CCEF, under the leadership of Dr. Benito Eze (President) and Dr. Ikechukwu Adinde (Chairman, Board of Trustees), and Mr. Leo Anigbo (Pioneer President) reaffirms its unwavering support for policies and projects that promote excellence, innovation, and the collective advancement of Ndi Enugu.

“This most recent breakthrough, alongside many of your infrastructural development projects, are set to place Enugu on the enviable trajectory of sustainable long-term development. 

“We urge all stakeholders to support this transformative development and work together to consolidate the gains it promises to deliver. Enugu is truly rising,” the group said.
