*As US hits Iranian 3 nuclear sites Saturday
President Donald Trump has described the United States military strikes on three Iranian nuclear sites, as a “spectacular military success”, adding that the facilities were “completely and totally obliterated.”
He disclosed this in an address from the White House on Saturday evening shortly after the US successful strikes in Iran.
Trump warned Iran that the US could go after additional targets if Iran does not make peace.
American B-2 bombers were used in the strikes, and sources said the US also utilized a 30,000-pound “bunker buster” bomb.
It’s the first known instance of the bomb being used operationally.
US President Donald Trump had earlier announced Saturday in a post on his Truth Social page, that the United States has completed a “very successful attack” on nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan.
The president said all planes are now outside of Iran air space.
“We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan.
“All planes are now outside of Iran air space. A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow.
“All planes are safely on their way home. Congratulations to our great American Warriors.
“There is not another military in the World that could have done this. NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE! Thank you for your attention to this matter,” Trump wrote in a Truth Social post.
Also, President Donald Trump announced he will deliver an address to the nation at 10pm ET on Saturday from the White House, following what he called a “very successful military operation” targeting Iranian nuclear facilities.
“I will be giving an Address to the Nation at 10:00 P.M., at the White House, regarding our very successful military operation in Iran.
“This is an HISTORIC MOMENT FOR THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, ISRAEL, AND THE WORLD. IRAN MUST NOW AGREE TO END THIS WAR. THANK YOU!” Trump wrote in the Truth Social post.
The president had earlier announced that the United States has completed a “very successful attack” on nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan.
Trump also reposted a social media post that said “FORDOW IS GONE.”

American B2 bombers were used in the weekend operation to target the three Iranian nuclear sites President Donald Trump referenced in his Truth Social post, according to a source familiar with the matter.
The Israel-Iran conflict hasentered its second week.
Earlier on Saturday, Israel claimed the killing of two commanders in Iran’s elite Quds Force, stating that it struck a range of Iranian military targets.
