Cardinal Kevin Farrell, an Irish man, is the man currently in charge of the Vatican City and superintends over the affairs of the Holy Mother Church.

Officially, he is referred to as the Cardinal Carmalengo and will be in charge of all administrative workings of the Church until a new Pope is elected, probably, in the next few weeks.

Cardinal Kevin will not have authority to make any significant policy changes in the Church or the Vatican administration.

The Holy Mother Church is built on strong foundations and will not be shaken.

May God give this servant of his, the wisdom and understanding to steer His Church in this period of human transition. Christ remains the eternal head of the Church.
