Police nab suspected BVAS syndicate amidst presidential election results controversy

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) police command has arrested a number of suspects who are believed to be involved in the manipulation of the Bimordial Voters Accreditation System (BVAS).

The suspects were apprehended by the police in a sting operation on No 15 Ghanges Street in the Maitama area of the FCT.

Arise TV reports that the police has taken the suspects into custody and are investigating the illegal possession and suspected manipulation of the BVAS.

It was also reported that one of the suspects arrested is said to be the Vice President of a company known as Emperor technology.

The report said the suspects are helping the police with its investigation.
