Former Radio Biafra anchorman, Barr. Simon Ekpa, has been arrested by the Finish Police.

Simon Ekpa, it could be recalled, had threatened to disrupt the elections in the South-East zone through violent means amidst multiple evidence that he is serving the interest of a certain presidential candidate.

No statement has added yet been issued by the Finish security agencies or the Embassy of Finland in Nigeria.

Just yesterday evening, Oyibo Chukwu, the Enugu-East senatorial candidate of the Labour Party and four of his supporters were shot and had the vehicle they were travelling in burnt by unknown gunmen said to be sponsored by Ekpa in Nkanu.

Other forms of violence are being attributed to the Ekpa faction of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), with the lengthy sit-at-home declared by them in the South-East starting Thursday.
