One killed as police  rescue two kidnapped victims in Adamawa

The Adamawa state police command has rescued two kidnapped victims in Gombe local government area of the state.

The operatives of the  command   in a joint operations with Military and Hunters led by the Divisional Police Officer Gombi ,swiftly responded to a distress call following the Kidnapping of.one  Hassan Saidua 25years,a resident of Mubi North local government area.   and Tijjani Bello 43years a resident of Hawul local government area, Borno State.while on their way from Garkida to Gombi Local government area, Adamawa state.

In a statement signed by the command spokesman, SP Suleman Yahaya Nguroje made available to newsman in Yola stated that suspects were trailed by the joint forces immediately after they attacked and Kidnapped the victims”

Adding that the suspects  were forced to abandoned the victims after a hot chase from the Rescue operatives.

Noting that one of the suspect was not lucky as he was neutralized  shot dead in a gun exchange  while  others escaped with bullet wounds.

A  locally fabricate rifle was recovered ,

The CP  while commending the giant and gallantry performance displayed by the officers that resulted to the success recorded, reiterates the command’s preparedness in timely response to reports from the Public on combatting crimes and criminality in the State.

The CP equally  appreciate the sister security agents for the continued support and Collaboration they have been rendering,  and further direct for an in-depth investigation and diligent Prosecution.
