Scores of passengers abducted from train station in Edo

Nigeria’s rail transportation came under attack once again on Saturday as scores of passengers waiting to board a train from Igueben in Igueben Local Government Area of Edo State to Warri in Delta State have been kidnapped.

The the exact number of those abducted is yet to be ascertained, an eyewitness said they are many.

Many of the travellers were also injured in the ensuing melee.

Edo Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Chidi Nwabuzor, a Superintendent of Police (SP), confirmed the incident Saturday night.
