8 Feared dead in two separate road accidents in Adamawa

As the yuletied gets closer, no fewer than eight persons were fear dead in two separate ghastly auto crashes involving two vehicles along Yola-Mubi road in Adamawa state.

The accident which occurred about 30 km  apart, alongthat axis, involved an articulated truck conveying 600 bags of grains to Yola.

According to eyewitnesses, the driver and two of his boys were pulled out the the fallen truck and we’re rushed to nearby health facility in Jabbi-Lamba, about 25 kilometers from Yola.

The eyewitnesses disclosed  that “the heavy laden truck was trying to dodge some potholes when it tumbled”.

Similarly, just about 30 km from the first accident,  a commercial bus overturned serval times before crashing into a bridge.

The eight-seater Ford bus with registration number: Adamawa YLA 456 ZY, veered off the road and crashed while negotiating a sharp bent near Murke village in Song Local Government Area.

Our Correspondent who was at each of the two scenes reports a terrible scene of accident victims with various degrees of injuries, including lost limbs.
As at filling this report neither the Federal Road Safety Commission Marshals nor the police personnel were sighted at any of the accident scenes.
