Cardinal Arinze to Nigerian Youths: Don’t get distracted with Soludo’s endorsement

Cardinal Francis Arinze, the Emeritus Archbishop of Onitsha, who just turned 90 years, has admonished Nigerian youths to keep faith in what they are currently doing and not to be deterred by all the tumultuous distractions.

Cardinal Arinze who made this call via his twitter handle has asked Nigerians especially Anambrarians to Ignore People like Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, who had openly endorsed Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, while casting aspersions on the candidacy of Peter Gregory Obi.

Soludo even abandoned Prof. Philip Umeadi, the presidential candidate of his party, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), in what analysts call “unparalled anti-party activity and open ploy to kill the party that made him governor”.

Cardinal Arinze reassured Nigerians of his fervent Prayers.

He had Tweeted: “Dear Nigeria youths, Don’t get distracted with Gov Soludo’s endorsement of Atiku Abubakar. You can achieve your aim without the support of any Governor.

“Take charge of your struggle and result will be yours. I encourage you to be focused. We are praying for you.

*Nigerians react

“Your Eminence, we appreciate your fatherly counsel. We don’t care about Soludo.

“He can endorse Satan if he wishes. He has just one vote for his Atiku.

“He cannot influence anyone else but himself. Thank you Servant of God”.

“Even the Bible says that a prophet is not recognized in his own home!! We outsiders love PO like that”.

— CEPHAS (@CephMade) December 16, 2022

“We are not distracted and will never be. Until PO becomes our president come 2023, no rest”.
