2023 Presidency: Jigawa Gov boasts of APC’s victory

The Jigawa state Governor, Abubakar Badaru on Monday, boasted that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will win the 2023 presidential election without hitches.

During the inauguration of the APC Presidential Campaign Committee Stakeholders’ Directorate in Abuja, he said the APC will resolve all the crises rocking the party to guarantee its success in the general elections. 

He explained that arrangements are in progress to close all dividing lines within the party to ensure they are united before the polls. 

Badaru expressed the hope that the Directorate, headed by Sen. Grace Bent, will harmoniously oversee the reconciliation of all aggrieved members of the party ahead of the elections.

The Governor advised Nigerians to ignore the religious sentiment being peddled in some quarters regarding same faith candidature of the party’s presidential ticket.

Badaru said Asiwaju Tinubu had impacted on individuals, groups and states and expressed the belief that he would improve the lives of Nigerians if elected into office.

“Bola is someone that had impacted on lives, groups and states. Thus, he would do same if voted into office come 2023,” he said.

The Coordinator of the Directorate, Senator Grace Bent said the major focus of the Directorate was to manage and resolve the public religious outcry against APC ‘s 2023 same -faith Presidential ticket and buy back the affection of some Nigerians upset with the candidature.

Mrs Bent assured the party of the committee’s  determination to deliver its mandate in order to ensure that presidential flag bearer emerges the next president of the nation.

Secretary of the Directorate, Pastor Timothy Ademola disclosed that the team would hit the ground running to achieve it’s mandate.
