In an effort to mobilise support for Peter Obi and his vice presidential candidate Baba-Ahmed ahead of the 2023 presidential election, the Labour Party today launched its presidential campaign in Nasarawa state.

The Labour Party, which is thought to be the third force in the presidential election, was greeted by a sizable audience in Nasarawa state, where many of the locals pledged their support for the former governor of Anambra State.

The Labour Party said: “The love was huge. We were thrilled to witness such a sizable throng welcome Peter Obi, his running companion Baba-Ahmed, and other Labour party Chieftains to the state. The Labour Party expresses gratitude to God for a successful campaign launch. God bless the way everything worked out, and you’ll be safe returning. We are reclaiming our nation. Forward Always.

Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Atiku Abubakar, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, and the other 12 presidential candidates will face off against Peter Obi in the campaign. They are all vying for Nigerian voters’ favour.
