NYSC-DG passes night in Kano Camp, eats with Corps Members

The Kano State Orientation Camp in Kusalah Dam Karaye erupted into jubilation as the Director-General of NYSC, Brig-Gen. Muhammad Kaku Fadah, decided to pass the night with them.

General Fadah, who inspected facilities on his arrival at the Orientation Camp was led by the NYSC Kano State Coordinator, Hajiya Aisha Tata Mohammed.

While at the Camp kitchen, the Director General expressed his delight at the quality of the food being served the Corps Members and other Camp officials.

Addressing the Corps Members, the DG congratulated them on the successful completion of their courses, which qualified them for mobilisation into national service. 

He urged them to use the social media to promote national unity and Integration, social and economic development of the country, likewise promoting the good image of the NYSC.

“We have zero tolerance for cultism, drug-related offences, fraud and other negative vices.

Utilise the opportunities of NYSC Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development programme to train yourself in vocational skills and become employers of labour”, he said. 

Rhe NYSC Kano State Coordinator, Hajiya Aisha Tata Mohammed, informed General Fadah that a total of 1,225 Corps Members comprising 834 females and 391 males deployed 

to the State, were all in high spirits and have acclimatized to the regimented camp life.
