Abubakar is among those facing terrorism charges, but were remanded at the Kuje correctional facility in Abuja, when members of their terrorism gang attacked the prison and set them free.

According to the Police, the suspect was arrested while trying to relocate to his native home of Bama Local Government Area in Borno State.

In a press statement signed by the Commissioner of Police, Sikiru Akande, in Yola, the Police boss said  Abubakar Mohammed was arrested along the Adamawa/Borno State borders.
