The Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Enugu State Command, Aloysius Udemadu Obiorah, has charged Officers and Men of the Command to roll their sleeves and get ready to work for the good and safety of the State. Disclosing this in his office during a meeting with the Management staff of the Command, Commandant Obiorah who assumed duty as the 11th Commandant in the State said that he is not in the State to listen to fables of failures or business as usual but to make a difference, create an impact and contribute to the development of the State.

He said that the development of any economy and society is dependent on the prevailing security atmosphere in  that  environment, according to a statement by CSC Denny Manuel Iwuchukwu, Public Relations Officer.

He described Enugu as the capital of South East political zone and insisted that the collective interest of the geopolitical zone cannot be toyed with hence the commitment of all is solicited for a win win result.

The Security Chief said that the incidences of insecurity in the State required a collective effort, promising that any outstanding contribution or performance of any personnel of the Command will be rewarded under his watch.

Commandant Obiorah extended a hand of fellowship to other Security Agencies in the State and promised a robust partnership that will further strengthen the already existing synergy among the Services with the aim of keeping the State secured.
