AMAC chairman canvasses support for incoming administration

The Chairman Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Hon Abdullahi Adamu Candido has urged the traditional leaders  and residents  to give the incoming administration the necessary support and assistance to  succeed.


He stated this on Thursday during a valedictory visit to the Chief of Garki palace.
Candido explained that the traditional institution is very important to the success of the area council administration. 

He said that his administration would designed a robust and successful take over ceremony for the incoming administration of AMAC, even as he advised the incoming government to build on available structures for the benefit of the people.


The outgoing chairman of the AMAC also explained that he is on a valedictory visit to the Chief of Garki palace to inform the royal father that his administration would come to an end on May 20, 2022.


He also called for the upgrading of the Garki chiefdom to a first class status to enable the institution have a sense of belonging and contribute to the development of residents.


Responding, the Sa’peyi of Garki, HRH Usman Nga-Kupi, thanked the outgoing AMAC chairman for the visit, even as he promised to continue to support administration of the area council.


Nga-Kupi advised residents of AMAC to avoid sentiment and to always pray for the success of leaders at all levels.
