National Assembly member and Enugu gubernatorial aspirant, Prince Ofor Chukwuegbo, has flagged off his gubernatorial ambition with the formal inauguration of foot soldiers across the state. At a ceremony at the Bon Sunshine Hotel, Enugu, Hon. Chukwuegbo inaugurated 260 ward officials were inaugurated as official minders of the  of the campaign in their various wards.
Most of the people in the team were veteran politicians,  and others regarded as shrewd political strategists.
Chukwuegbo while performing the inauguration said he was seeking power to do “good, and good only”.
He assured  them he would consolidate of on  the achievements of the incumbent Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, first, and then seek to improve with his own initiative, to make the lives of people of the state better.
He urged them to ignore criticism of “nay sayers” who he said contrived the false propaganda that Ugwuanyi hadn’t done enough for people of Enugu as Governor.
“A lot has happened and are still happening. The power we seek is the power to consolidate and build on the achievements of the government of the day – the Ugwuanyi regime.
“The power we seek is to have the opportunity to add value, improve on services rendered to our folks; the power to continue to make  government accessible to the people and make the  lives of Enugu people better,” he stated.
